How Do U Post Videos On Instagram

How Do U Post Videos On Instagram – If you occasionally upload videos to your Instagram Stories, you’ve probably hit the 15-second limit. This means that regardless of the length of the video you post on your story, Instagram will automatically crop it to a maximum length of 15 seconds.

This is great for short videos, but what if you want to post a video longer than the 15 second limit?

Football match between France and Germany. I wanted to publish the French national anthem sung by 80,000 people in my story, the limit is one minute. The other day I realized that the limit was only 15 seconds and Instagram trimmed my video by more than two thirds.

How To Use Instagram Tagging For More Exposure

That’s when I started looking for an app that automatically breaks videos into 15-second segments that can be uploaded sequentially to Instagram Stories, making it look like one continuous, seamless clip.

There are many apps in the App Store that can do this. Some are free. Some are expensive. Some are literally trying to get you to buy in-app purchases, some have watermarks, and some have extreme levels of ads. No one was perfect, so I decided we should create our own, which we did.

Split Video comes… This app is free with limited ad support which makes it totally passable. It does not add watermark to your videos and works flawlessly. It is elegantly designed and very easy to use.

2) Tap Select Video and select the video you want to split. By default, a long video will be split into short segments of 15 seconds each, perfect for Instagram stories. But if needed for other projects, you can drag the slider to adjust the split length of the clip up to 60 seconds.

How To Save Your Instagram Stories In 3 Different Ways

3) Browse your library and select a video longer than 15 seconds. Make sure this is the video you want to slice by tapping Select.

4) The video will then be imported into the app which will split it into 15-second segments. As you can see in the screenshot below, the video is 63 seconds long and divided into 5 segments (15 + 15 + 15 + 15 + 3).

6) The short clips are then saved to your library and a confirmation message informs you that the export is complete.

7) Now you can post these 15 second clips to your Instagram story as long as you do it in the right order.

Send An Instagram Direct Message With These 5 Easy Steps

8) As you can see in this last screenshot, my 5 clips were uploaded to Instagram which is now viewing this story as a one minute story.

Instagram now allows you to post long videos from within the app itself. All you have to do is select a long video of up to 60 seconds and Instagram will automatically split it into smaller segments of 15 seconds each. The same goes for recording clips with the Instagram camera. If you need help, check out our guide to posting iPhone videos to your Instagram story.

However, if the video you want to post on your Instagram story takes more than a minute, we recommend that you use the application mentioned above. therefore

I wanted to post a 1 minute 9 second (or 69 second) video to an Instagram story using the official app. The app divides the video into four parts of 15 seconds each, which is 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 = 60 seconds or just 1 minute. 9 seconds automatically removed from the clip!

Instagram Stories: Everything You Need To Know

I checked with another video of 1 minute 20 seconds (or 80 seconds). This time too, the official Instagram app divides the video into four short segments of 15 seconds each, which is 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 = 60 seconds or just 1 minute. He ignored the last 20 seconds of my video! Because stories uploaded on the Instagram app are limited to 60 seconds.

But if you use the Split Video app, it will cut long videos into 15 second clips and keep the remaining video length (like 9 seconds or 5 seconds) as another video clip. It allows you to publish an entire video of more than 1 minute without editing a small part. One of the best features of the iPhone camera is the Live Photo option. No photo is a bad photo – choose the best frame in the 3-second window captured as a live photo.

But if you want to share your photos live on social media, you can just share them as photos. You have lots of short clips on your phone that you can use as boomerangs or loops – why not post them on Instagram?

While you can’t create video files from Live Photos on your iPhone, you do have the option to change how they play.

How To Go Live On Instagram By Yourself Or With A Guest

In iOS 14 or earlier, go to the Photos app, select the Live Photo you want to use, and swipe up on the photo itself (or scroll down if you’re using a computer).

In iOS 15, tap a photo and find the “Live” drop-down menu in the top-left corner of the photo.

You will see 3 options for your Live Photo: Live, Bounce and Loop. For your Live Photo to become a video, you need to select the Loop or Reflection option. I recommend the reflection style because the loop option trims the video with a fade out effect, although it has a great effect on some videos!

Unfortunately, with both software updates, when a looped or mirrored image is saved to the Camera Roll, it is not actually saved as a video. If you send it to your computer and export it as a file, it will be saved as a GIF which can only be uploaded to Instagram as a still image. Instead, you have to select a photo in the Photos app, select the “Share” button (it looks like a square with an arrow), scroll down and select “Save to Files.”

How To Create A Boomerang For An Instagram Post Or Story

After saving a looped or flipped Live Photo to files, you won’t be able to upload it to Instagram as a video. We know it’s annoying 🙄 Apple makes it hard. But there’s only one final step to getting video: convert your new GIF to video. Open Studio in the Safari browser on your phone. Click on “Start” or “Start Studio”.

Tap “Click to upload” and then “Choose files”. The saved loop file or mirrored file file must be the newest file in the browser. Just select the file you want and your movie will start uploading instantly to Studio.

After uploading a file to Studio, you can process it. Just click “Export Video” at the top of the window. It will automatically do its magic and your Live Photo will be ready to download as an MP4 video file in no time. After the process is complete, just click “Download”.

If you are not logged into your account, please log in or register with your Google or Facebook account – when you log into your account, the watermark in the lower right corner will be removed from the final image.

Here’s How To See Your Liked Posts On Instagram 2022

Once your Live Photo is saved as a video to your Camera Roll, you can easily upload it to Instagram! All you have to do is open Instagram and go to the upload tab in the middle of the bottom menu. Select the “Library” tab to pop out the camera roll and live video should be the most recently shown thing. Just select the video you want and you’re ready to share it with your followers.
