Manual billing is essentially pay-as-you-go and easy to understand, where you get paid each day for what you spend on ads that day.

Billing rates may vary depending on your billing history. When you start, the limit will be low (usually $25), and you’ll get paid every time you spend $25 on Facebook ads. As you spend and manage your payments effectively, your quota will increase automatically.

If you still have a balance at the end of the month, but your billing limit has not been met, you will be billed for that amount at the beginning of the month to clear your balance.

You can control your total ad spend by setting ad account spending limits. Your ads will stop when you reach the limit you set and won’t run again until you lift or remove that limit.
